This is our mission: find, recommend and sell you the best small-production wines that you can't get from your local wine merchant. Tiny, new Napa Valley vintners come flocking to the store, asking us to taste then buy their wines. Our advantage to acquire these brand new Napa wines is priceless! For example, Paloma, Switchback Ridge and T-Vine Cellars were offered to Back Room Wines Owner/Winebuyer Daniel Dawson on first release before everyone wanted them. Who's next? Detert Family? Scholium Project? Violet Green? Could be, the wines certainly merit such attention.

On the phone, on the website, and in the store, we love to recommend the best wines for you. Our recommendations are thoughtful and sincere, always. If we "write it up," you can be sure we'll recommend it to you when you call or email us asking "what we really think." If you like that particular style, and we'll tell you what the style is as best we can, then that particular featured wine is for you. Also, we are just as happy to sell you the $15 bottle as we are the $50 one, if that is what's best.
