Mas de Boislauzon-Chateauneuf du Pape-"Tradition"-2012

Mas de Boislauzon
Chateauneuf du Pape

70% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre and 5% Syrah. Winemaking is a combination of modern and traditional. No destemming, aged in barriques, small % of which is new. Smell & taste ripe red raspberries and strawberries, sun-roasted herbs, nori, cracked black pepper, dry aged beef. Fine tannins, medium/full bodied, classic.

Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate, October 2014: “A ripe, sexy and seamless effort that gives up plenty of sweet red fruits, garrigue, truffle and kirsch. Medium to full-bodied, with a forward, hard-to-resist style.”
