Chateau Tirecul la Graviere$39.00
"Cuvee Chateau" 500 ML
55% Semillon, 45% Muscadelle. Monbazillac is on the eastern edge of Bordeaux. Known as "poor man's Sauternes," this producer challenges the best of Sauternes for quality.
Full-bodied, oily, rich and fruity. Smell and taste apricot preserves, orange marmalade, caramel, toasted meringue, roast almonds. Finish is long and decadent. Best to drink by itself or with strong blue cheese.
“Apricot/peach marmalade, crème brulée and maple syrup aromas and flavors in a full-bodied, unctuous, but well-balanced, pure style.” Parker, June 2014
