From that “Damn Mountain” vineyard that’s steep, rocky and so damn hard to farm. Sauvignon Blanc’s green herbal notes blend nicely with the ripe citrus, melon and peach/apple smells and flavors. Nice, round mouthfeel and high acidity that pairs with the ripe fresh fruit.
Schildknecht for TWA, June 2012: "Penetrating scents of mint, white pepper, and citrus oils rise from the glass. Lemon and grapefruit offer an invigoratingly bright palate with their accents of citrus rind, pepper, and chalk; Long on finesse and refreshment – and just plain long."
