Getariako Txakolina


Grapes: 95% Hondarribi Zuri, 5% Gros Manseng. One of the few Txakoli wineries not on the sea. Warmer climate. Wild yeast ferment, aged on the lees one year (no stirring), no CO2 added (no spritz). Result is a more "serious" and textural wine. Still very classic and tangy. Get lemon zest, quince, green apple skins, tart pineapple, Kaffir lime, lemon kisses. Acidity makes you smile. Best Txakoli made (we think).
