"Bon Passe Vineyard" Napa Valley
Estate vineyard at the western end of Darms Lane, up against the Mayacamas between Napa & Yountville. Made by Brian Mox (winemaker for Lewis Cellars too). Smell & taste black cherry liqueur, generous toasty new French oak, dark chocolate, mocha and five spice. Tannins (long-lasting and fine) on the gums. A "modern" style of Napa Cab, giving immediate gratification. 5% Cab Franc, 6% Petit Verdot. 475 cases.
