"Fiddlestix - Seven Twenty Eight" Santa Rita Hills
Santa Rita Hills, western Santa Barbara County, one of CA’s great regions for Pinot Noir. Iconic producer Fiddlehead crafted a delicious 2010. Dark cherry fruits along with licorice, five spice, Earl Grey tea and a little bit of truffle. Silky, friendly and drinking great. “728” is the “Fiddlestix” Estate vineyard’s highway mile marker.

This wine has history at Back Room. We've successfully sold past vintages. It's as consistent as they come from year to year. This is an estate vineyard in Santa Rita Hills, western Santa Barbara County. ("728" is the "Fiddlestix" Estate vineyard's highway mile marker.) It's tasty and full of character...smell and taste generous dark cherry fruits along with licorice, five spice, Earl Grey tea and a little bit of truffle. This is silky, friendly and drinking great. Very versatile with food. Roast turkey for sure. Connor's porchetta would sing with it, as would meaty mushrooms and filet of beef.
