Venerable Estate Cleto Chiarli has made delicious, small-lot Lambrusco is Emilia-Romagna for 150 years. 5 days skin contact (very cold must), 3 months ageing then bottled for 2nd fermentation (unusal for Lambruso). BRW staff LOVES this wine. Get wild red plums, cranberry/raspberry, pink rose petals, violets, blood orange. Has vibrant acidity and crisp, clean finish. Buy a  case of this bubbly nectar. 

"100% Lambrusco di Sorbara. Maceration on the skins occurs at low temperature for a period ranging between 5 and 7 days. Following fermentation and aging on the lees for at least 3 months.Second fermentation, ‘Pris de Mousse,' takes place through natural in-bottle fermentation is followed by aging for 6 months."
